Ty Rawls
Ty Rawls is one of the artists whose contemporary works are displayed at Timeless Treasures Art. His pieces are inspired by social justice, important ideological figures, and iconic cultural movements in Black history.
Starting in the Field of Arts
He attended Wayne State University and studied Fine Arts and Design. In 2000, Mr. Rawls created the hit graphic novel, “Smoke.” He also moved to Boston and had the good fortune of meeting Paul Goodnight and began training with the master painter.
For him, it was a dream come true. During this period, he acquired the specific skills that make him the painter he is today.
His Breakthroughs
In 2009, Rawls had a series of shows in Hollywood. He experienced LA’s amazing gallery scene and got attention for his work. His artwork was also featured in the renowned Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club.
